Unfinished bathroom cabinets – With just a little work and time, you can change the entire look and feel of your bathroom by painting the cabinets. Whether it’s lighter a dark finish, add a dark contrast, or just cover up dirt or water damage, new-sized bathroom cabinets will help the whole bathroom feel fresh and clean. Painting under a cabinet with a surface on it takes some prep work, but it is not much more work than painting an unfinished cupboard.

Sand the unfinished bathroom cabinets lightly with fine grain sandpaper. You do not need to remove all finishes. Simply scuff up the finish a bit to help the color adhere to the surface. Wipe the cabinet with a damp cloth to remove dust created during grinding as well as any other dirt or dirt on the cabinet. Wait for the cabinet to dry completely. Tape from all areas around cabinets that you do not want to paint with target tape.
Lay out a cloth to protect the floor from paint. Open primer and stir well. Paint the unfinished bathroom cabinets with a thin layer of primer, and make sure to cover all corners and slits. The primer will probably not provide full coverage, that is, part of the original color or closure of the cupboards will probably shine through. This is normal. If the cupboards are very dark and you paint them a bright color, paint on a second layer of primer.
